How do I become a Phoenix?
Phoenix membership includes the following:
  1. Membership to our uber-fun club which includes:
    1. Swimming for one of the biggest teams in Johannesburg!
    2. Swimming for the coolest team in Johannesburg!
    3. Updates on all galas, dam swims and additional events like sea-swims or anything fun the committee or other swimming clubs come up with.
    4. Social functions where you get to know many funny, interesting and like minded people!
  2. Membership to South African Masters Swimming (SAMS).
  3. Membership to Gauteng Masters Swimming (GMS).
  4. Membership to Swim South Africa (SSA).
  5. Membership to Central Gauteng Aquatics (CGA).

To join the Phoenix club is simple!  Follow these easy steps:

  1. Download the Phoenix registration and SSA registration forms.
  2. If you want to join as a CGA member, then download the CGA registration form.
  3. Fill in all your details on the Phoenix registration form.  Tick the Swimming box if you just want to join the club socially, Open-Water if you want to swim in dams/oceans, Competitive if you want to participate in galas and CGA if you want to compete on a senior level as an open water or competitve swimmer. Remember - you can do all four!
  4. If you are a new member or are leaving a different club to come and join our bubbling awesome club, fill in all your details on the SSA registration form as well.
  5. Make the appropriate payment into the banking account shown on the Phoenix registration form:
    Between 1st May and 30th September:

    New and Re-Registering Members R500.00 (Includes fees to GMS, SAMS & SSA)

    After 30th September and before 1st December :
    New Members R500.00 (Includes fees to GMS, SAMS & SSA)

    Re-Registering Members R600.00 (Includes fees to GMS, SAMS & SSA)

    CGA Membership Members R800.00 (Includes CGA,GMS,SAMS fees)

  6. Scan proof of payment, all the forms and a copy of your ID (only applicable if you completed the SSA registration form) in and email to info@phoenixmastersswimming.com or fax it to 086 689 4079.
  7. Join the Phoenix Team at galas and open water swims, it is fun in the sun where the whole family can participate.
