We cater for swimmers who want to compete in galas and love swimming in a pool - better known as Chlorine Junkies.

Our affiliation to Gauteng Masters Swimming (GMS) and South African Masters Swimming (SAMS) enables members to participate in both provincial and nationally organised short (25m) and long course (50m) gala events. Swimmers compete in age groups with 5 year intervals. 

Phoenix aims to create a friendly, fun and interactive swimming experience for all our members and their loved ones.  We are sucessfully reviving participation in masters swimming by means of creating a sense of challenge, fun and adventure.

The Open Water division of our club offers the swimmer who enjoys swimming in dams and oceans and anywhere you can find other fish!  We are also better known as the Dam Team. We participate in all available dam and ocean swims and you'll recognise us with our green dam team shirts and gazebo's! We can boast a record holder of the extream double Robben Island swim as well as podium finishers at swims around the country.
